What's your opening hours ?

We are open all-day everyday from 11 am for coffee and cakes and food serves from 12 am till 10pm but our guest can stay as late as 1am. (during summer times) We only close Christmas day.


What's your policy with dogs ?

Dogs are allowed only at certain areas of outside seating. Must be tied securely and well behaved.


Can I Smoke outside seating area ?

Yes you can but no cigars or pipes are allowed and be considerate of adjoining tables especially with kids or non-smoking guests. Outside seating isn't designated smoking areas please referring of any extensive smoking. The management reserved the right of stopping this service if it becomes an issue or complains from other guests.


Do you have children menu ?

Yes we have and its available all-day, everyday with a included drink. We love kids and we make special meals and most of our dishes can be prepared at a small size if they wish. Kids menu is only available for the kids at the age of 10 or younger


Are you buggy friendly ?

Yes we are. But it's not allowed in the restaurant area during the evening times due to size of the space except newborn babies. Baby chairs are available and our guests can use outside seating if they wish to so. No babies after 8 o'clock in restaurant or at bar area


What's your dress code ?

We have no dress code but we prefer our guest not to wear shorts(evenings) in the restaurant area


How is your crowd like ?

Lucia wine bar is offering a informal dining experience with full range of crowd from students to senior citizens. We have extended wines and cocktails which makes it ideal anyone who just want to have a relaxing drinks and taste some of our Tapas or have full menu as they wish


What sort of food do you do ?

We are an Italian Wine bar with a Spanish, and British twist. We use fresh products prepared and served daily at our premises


Where are you located ?

York Branch. We are just off the Swine gate, trough the large alley way, opposite the Mulberry Bag Department store (Grape lane) Swine gate East court. YO1 8AJ (13) Beverley Branch. Do you take bookings?

Our restaurants operate no booking policy. This allowed us to keep our prices down and offer discounts to our guest. Lucia wine bar is a informal restaurant and bar. We would like to be fair to all our guest who wish to enjoy our restaurant whether just a visitor or one our loyalty guest. We have a large waiting area in our both branches with outside or inside and drinks offered while waiting. Our restaurants are very popular but even at very busy periods waiting times are short and we make sure you will have a table within a reasonable time. We understand that this might cause a problem as you would like to make sure you and your guests will have a table on your arrival but you can be make sure that we will work very hard to get you table as quickly as possible. This is why during the summer times and on Fridays and Saturdays we kindly request our guests to be more considerate. In some days we only allowed a max stay policy which our guest can stay at table maximum of two hours. We think this is fair.


What is Loyalty Card? Is it worth to have it ?

Its a discount scheme which we offer at free of charge. It offers a %10 discount every time you visit our restaurants (food only). We have thousands of members who enjoy this service and it allows you to have a discount up to ten people. To get this all you have to do is register your details with us and collect it on your arrival with your discount.


Can I buy the songs you play in your restaurant on CD. ?

We use special system which allows us to stream music trough the internet so our music isn’t available for purchasing.


Do you do gift vouchers and other promotions ?

Yes we do, simply ask one of our staff and we will also include our loyalty card (further %10 discount as our gift to you). We do also do drink promotions please see our drink menu for details


Do you do Christmas meals ?

We are unable to do Christmas meals as we don’t reserve tables but Christmas dinner is available as a seasonal offer from 1st of December till 24th December with a complimentary mince pie and Christmas crackers. Starting from 2011. We also do seasonal drinks during the festive season.


Its my birthday ?

Well, Happy Birthday.. Have a drink on us. You can have any of the cocktail on the menu except champagne and jug cocktails, birthday person only and one drink only with a valid proof. Over 18 or virgin cocktail under 18.
